Chip equipment provider Lam Research (LRCX) this afternoon reported fiscal Q2 revenue and profit per share ahead of consensus estimates.
Revenue in the three months ended in December rose to $584 million, yielding EPS of 34 cents, excluding some costs.
On that basis, analysts on average had been modeling $571.7 million and 30 cents per share.
On a GAAP basis, the company missed the consensus 30 cents by three cents a share.
Lam Research shares are down 11 cents at $43.44 in late trading.
