The folks at market research firm Strategy Analytics this afternoon offer the view that Nokia (NOK) are not planning on talking about new tablet computers at the Mobile World Congress trade show in Barcelona that begins a week from Monday, February 25th.
“Following extensive channel checks by our tablet and touch-screen strategies service, we understand Nokia will not unveil a tablet with a Microsoft (MSFT) operating system at this year’s MWC,” writes the firm.
The strategy for Nokia will be “smartphone first” at the conference, Strategy Analytics opines.
Nokia shares are down 2 nets at $3.96 today.
