Even On Hockey Night? Netflix Rules Peak Canadian Net Traffic

Remember that report last week which said Netflix (NFLX) represents over 20% of peak Internet download traffic in the U.S.? Well, as Gizmodo notes, the same report from network equipment provider Sandvine reports that Netflix streaming accounts for 95% of all bandwidth used in Canada during peak evening hours. The report notes that this is was only true at around 9:30 p.m. local time, and that the sample was taken during the first week that Netflix streaming was being offered in Canada.

Really? In hockey season?
