NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- Beware of all the spooky talk on Halloween about bubbles in the market, Jim Cramer said Thursday on "Mad Money."
The bubble talk is everywhere. "You hear it from smart people who've been around for ages," Cramer said. "You hear it from young whippersnapper short-sellers who need the market to come down so they don't look so stupid when they tell their investors how they're doing at the end of the year."
They were at the top of their game today when the market looked really soggy only to work its way back on the strength of some better-than-expected earnings. Although some people are saying the market is too high, that's not the way Cramer thinks. The market is made of a ton of stocks, some of which can be very overvalued and others that may be undervalued at the same time. Some current bubble stocks include Amazon (AMZN), Netflix (NFLX), SolarCity (SCTY) and Tesla (TSLA), Cramer said. Even though Facebook (FB), a holding in Cramer's charitable trust, Action Alerts PLUS, and Starbucks (SBUX) had positive quarterly reports on Wednesday, by Thursday morning there was already talk of it being time to sell. "Bubble-fearing analysts were determined to slam them down," Cramer said. Cramer's advice: Stick with "best of breed" stocks even while taking some of the position off the table. "Let the rest run," he said. Executive Decision: Dinesh Paliwal In his "Executive Decision" segment, Cramer sat down with Dinesh Paliwal, chairman, president and CEO of Harman International (HAR), the provider of premium audio and infotainment systems that has returned 130% return Cramer last spoke with Paliwal in June 2012. The stock rose 12.5% on Thursday. Paliwal boiled the company's success down to four points: innovation, cost control, looking for new trends and working with other great companies. Then, he said, it's all about execution. "Execution has to become your DNA," he said. As a global company, Harman looks for what Paliwal calls "best cost" countries for manufacturing, like India, China and Ukraine. Mexico is an excellent example of a "best cost" country and has the advantage of being close to the U.S.

Advisors' Opinion:- [By Rich Duprey]
Deep discounter Dollar Tree (NASDAQ: DLTR ) announced today that its current chief operating officer, Gary Philbin, will now also carry the title of president, a position previously held by company CEO Bob Sasser.
- [By Jacob Roche]
With the economy starting to improve, you might think Dollar Tree's (NASDAQ: DLTR ) fortunes will reverse. The deep discounter provided unemployed and lower-income consumers a safe place in the storm, but with the economic weather clearing up, it would be reasonable to expect consumers to venture out again to higher-end retailers. However, that assumption would be wrong.

European large-cap pharmaceuticals like Novartis (NVS) and Bristol Meyers Squibb (BMY) count amongst some of our favorite stocks right now, as do U.S. multinationals that are growing revenue and margins in Asia Tupperware (TUP) is a shining example. Stay away from utilities and energy stocks, as they are likely to be the laggards over the next year.

Advisors' Opinion:- [By Taylor Muckerman and Joel South]
Many oil and natural gas service companies called the fourth quarter of 2012 a trough in the North American market. By all accounts so far during this reporting period, that appears to be especially prescient. International heavyweights Halliburton (NYSE: HAL ) and Schlumberger (NYSE: SLB ) both witnessed signs that a second half turnaround us likely upon them and the industry as a whole.
- [By Dan Caplinger]
Halliburton has focused much of its attention on the booming U.S. market, giving it more exposure to domestic production than more globally focused rival Schlumberger (NYSE: SLB ) . With domestic drilling activity having been fairly weak lately, Halliburton's U.S. concentration has raised concerns among investors, as land-based rig counts have fallen sharply. But with efficiency gains from multi-pad drilling and multi-stage hydraulic fracturing, bulls hope that rig counts don't accurately reflect actual production activity and therefore that Halliburton's earnings will hold up better than some expect.

Advisors' Opinion:- [By Monica Gerson]
Caterpillar (NYSE: CAT) is estimated to report its Q3 earnings at $1.67 per share on revenue of $14.32 billion.
Airgas (NYSE: ARG) is expected to report its Q2 earnings at $1.22 per share on revenue of $1.28 billion.
- [By Ben Levisohn]
For one day at least, this CAT is not a dog.
Caterpillar (CAT) has gained 2% to $86.22 today, its largest gain since in a month and the largest gain among the Dow components. The machinery manufacturer has dropped 11% during the past six months, however, as a slowdown in China and cost-cutting at mining companies have hit its shares.
BloombergSusquehanna’s Ted Grace offers reasons for optimism, even as he lowers his 12-month price target to $97 from $104:
CAT remains Positive rated with 15% upside to our $97 price target and upside-downside of 1.2-to-1 (which, like most of our machinery names, is admittedly shy of the 2-to-1 or better ratio we prefer). Despite our 2014-15 EPS being ~6% below consensus, we view our updated estimates as closer to buyside expectations while noting that consensus appears to embed a low tax rate that explains over half of the variance. While there remains plenty of uncertainty on 2014/15, particularly in mining, we believe CAT shares currently discount reasonable top-line expectations while recent meetings with mgmt suggest potential for structural cost savings that could drive better than expected margins/ incrementals. While difficult to identify discernible catalysts, if CAT’s framework for flat-to-better RI revenue growth in 2014 proves correct (admittedly not assumed in our estimates), this would almost certainly debunk the core of the bear thesis and be meaningfully positive for shares.
Investors waiting for the stock to actually, you know, rise can take comfort in Caterpillar’s $2.40 dividend per share and its more than $3 per share in buybacks in 2013, Grace says.
Caterpillar’s 2% gain has trumped the Dow Jones Industrial Average’s 0.04% rise, and United Technology’s (UTX) 0.1% drop, while competitor Deere (DE) has gained 1.9% to $83.22.
