And although we see other companies taking information they know about us and using it to market other products and better advertisements, we can usually directly see how our information is being used, and those companies may have a higher switching cost associated with them. On the other hand, if Facebook users begin to grow to concerned about their privacy, they can easily stop using the service and move to a different social-media platform that offers similar features.
